Coconut nectar drink officially enters US market for first time
VOV.VN - The Tra Vinh FARM Co. Ltd. (Sokfarm) in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh officially exported its first batch of fresh coconut nectar drink to the United States on October 25.
The shipment comprising nearly 20,000 bottles of fresh coconut nectar drink was resulted from rounds of negotiations between Sokfarm and its US partners and strict quality control by the US side.
As scheduled, Sokfarm will export about 20,000 to 40,000 bottles of coconut nectar drink to the market each month.
Tra Vinh currently ranks second in Vietnam in terms of coconut growing area, behind only Ben Tre. It is growing nearly seven million coconut palms on over 26,000 hectares, with a total annual output of 370,000 tonnes.
