Beautycare Expo gets underway in Ho Chi Minh City
VOV.VN - The 2023 International Exhibition on Beauty Products, Technology and Services (Vietnam Beautycare Expo 2023) opened on September 13 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the event attracting a number of leading foreign brands.
The occasion provides an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to develop national brands while helping international firms to make a comprehensive evaluation on the Vietnamese market, thereby seeking fresh partners and ramping up business co-operation.
On display across the 350 booths were products from leading corporations and suppliers in the fields of cosmetics, spa, hair, nail, and skin care, as well as healthcare products and beauty equipment from Asia and other countries around the world.
The expo also attracted the participation of top brands which came to provide solutions for packaging, labeling, as well as suppliers of materials for cosmetic and natural product manufacturers.
Furthermore, it provides an ideal venue for businesses to directly stay updated on the latest trends and broaden their knowledge in the beauty field, while simultaneously seeking distributors to expand production.
At present, the nation represents an attractive destination for foreign cosmetic brands, with 93% of personal care products being imported.
Among them, the Republic of Korea (RoK) is the nation’s largest cosmetic exporter , followed by European countries, Japan, Thailand, the United States, and other suppliers from Singapore and China.
In 2019, the country’s total beauty product import value reached US$950 million.
