Bac Ninh grants investment certificates worth US$1.1 billion to enterprises
VOV.VN - The northern province of Bac Ninh presented investment certificates to 24 enterprises with total registered capitalisation of nearly US$1.1 billion, at a conference on March 31.

The certificates were given to 14 domestic and six foreign enterprises with registered investment capital of US$324.6 million and US$320.5 million respectively.
Three enterprises registered to adjust their investment capital worth US$135.8 million, while an enterprise signed an expansion investment document valued at US$260 million.
At the hand-over conference, Vuong Quoc Tuan, head of the provincial administration, expressed gratitude to investors and reaffirmed the province’s commitment to creating the most favourable conditions for businesses.
Bac Ninh is keen to continue to receive support from investors and businesses, particularly as it will give fresh impetus for the locality to become a modern industrial hub in Vietnam, focusing on green and digital transformation, he noted.
According to the official, with 21 industrial zones covering 6,400 hectares and five others integrated into the provincial masterplan for 2021-2050, Bac Ninh remains a top destination for multinational corporations, particularly in the electronics and semiconductor industries.
Last year saw Bac Ninh attract more than US$5.1 billion in FDI to take the lead among localities in terms of FDI attraction.
In the first quarter of the year, the Bac Ninh industrial zones attracted newly registered investment capital and adjusted capital of nearly US$2 billion.
