Work begins on two hi-tech factories in Bac Ninh province

Ground-breaking ceremonies were held on March 30 for the Victory Giant Technology Vietnam factory and Green Precision Manufacturing Vietnam Co. Ltd project in VSIP Bac Ninh II, located in the northern province of Bac Ninh, with combined investment of over US$640 million.

The first project is developed by China’s Victory Giant Technology which specialises in the research, development, production, and sales of high-precision printed circuit boards (PCBs), HDI, FPC, and Rigid-Flex circuit boards. These products play a crucial role in artificial intelligence, large-scale data centres, industrial internet, green energy automobiles, next-generation communication technology, aerospace, and medical equipment.

With a total investment of US$520 million, the factory is designed to produce 4 million square metres of PCBs annually, generating an estimated production value of US$900 million and significantly contributing to Vietnam’s high-precision PCB manufacturing industry.

Highlighting the province’s favourable investment environment, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his hope that Victory Giant Technology would swiftly complete the necessary procedures to begin construction and commence production. He also urged the company to adhere to legal regulations, foster a strong corporate culture, and ensure welfare for its workers.

Tuan reaffirmed Bac Ninh’s commitment to supporting businesses with a partnership-driven approach. In response to the company's proposal, the province has submitted a request to the government for approval to develop dormitories for workers.

Meanwhile, Green Precision, a China-based high-tech enterprise, specialises in the research, design, and production of precision components for electronic consumer products, including speakers, mobile phones, tablets, and electronic payment devices.

The company's factory in Bac Ninh has a total investment of US$121 million. It is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of 2026, with an estimated annual production capacity of 62 million products and a projected production value of US$413 million.

Tuan underscored the significance of this project, expressing his optimism that, once operational, it would generate substantial production value and positively contribute to the province’s economic growth.

Since the beginning of this year, Bac Ninh has attracted approximately US$1.45 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI). To date, the province has granted investment registration certificates to over 2,400 valid FDI projects, with a total registered capital of US$31.3 billion, ranking 7th nationwide in terms of investment attraction.
