AISC 2025: Vietnam asserts its position in AI and semiconductor industry
VOV.VN - The International conference on Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors 2025 (AISC 2025) has brought together over 1,000 experts and leaders from top global technology firms, highlighting Vietnam’s growing role in AI and semiconductor innovation.

The AISC 2025, co-hosted by Aitomatic, a US technology company specializing in Knowledge-First AI solutions for industrial and manufacturing sectors, and the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, is a major event bringing together over 1,000 leaders and experts from leading technology corporations, including Google, Nvidia, IBM, Meta, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, and MediaTek.
The conference serves as a valuable platform for Vietnam to connect with global enterprises and investors in the high-tech sector, reinforcing its position in the global value chain.
Taking place from March 12-16, 2025, in Hanoi and Da Nang, AISC 2025 features key activities, including thematic workshops on semiconductor and AI technologies, exhibitions, investment networking, and a policy forum attended by the Vietnamese Prime Minister. The discussions will focus on emerging trends, AI applications in chip design and manufacturing, and cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance productivity and scalability.
NIC Director Vu Quoc Huy emphasized that AISC 2025 is an important academic forum, helping Vietnam affirm its role in the technology sector. Meanwhile, Dr. Christopher Nguyen, Founder of Aitomatic, highlighted Vietnam’s efforts in promoting AI and semiconductor development, which have attracted strong interest from major economies such as the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
A key highlight of the conference is the introduction of SemiKong, an open-source AI model for chip manufacturing, developed through a collaboration between Aitomatic (US), Tokyo Electron (Japan), and FPT Software (Vietnam). This breakthrough initiative enhances domestic enterprises’ ability to master technology, creating opportunities for Vietnam to integrate more deeply into the global semiconductor supply chain.
Additionally, representatives from Google DeepMind will present AlphaChip, a revolutionary AI-powered microchip design technology. Experts from Stanford and Warwick Universities will also showcase pioneering research on AI-integrated IC design and advanced semiconductor scalability.
AISC 2025 also provides investment opportunities through the Startup Pavilion - International Shark Tank, where Vietnamese tech companies can pitch their projects to top venture capital firms, secure strategic partnerships, and expand their global market presence. This initiative is expected to be a significant stepping stone for Vietnamese enterprises to access cutting-edge technologies and further integrate into the global supply chain.
