AgroChemEx Vietnam 2023 kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City
VOV.VN - The fourth international exhibition on fertilizers, pesticides, and agrochemicals (AgroChemEx Vietnam 2023) officially got underway in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting nearly 70 Chinese businesses and numerous local firms.
Addressing the event, Le Van Thiet, deputy director of the Vietnam Plant Protection Department, emphasised that the expo provides an ideal venue for fertilizer and pesticide companies to introduce a range of advanced technologies in production, import, and export activities, as well as promoting ties towards a green, clean, safe, and sustainable agriculture.
Thiet underlined the need to tighten control over import and export activities, and make full use of agricultural materials, especially fertilizers and pesticides, towards the ultimate goal of developing an ecological, organic, circular, and low carbon agriculture moving forward.
For his part, Guo Wei, deputy secretary of the China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA), noted the expo creates fresh opportunities for both Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises to gain greater insights into management regulations, ramp up linkages in technology transfer in the production of fertilizers, pesticides, and agrochemicals after a period of hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event also serves as a bridge for businesses of both sides to seek potential partners and expand their markets to regional and international countries, Guo said.
A number of seminars and trade exchange events are scheduled to be held during the two-day event.
