20 Vietnamese businesses to attend Gulfood 2019 in Dubai

VOV.VN - Twenty Vietnamese businesses operating in the fields of agro-forestry-fishery, processed food and beverages will attend the world's largest annual food & beverage trade show Gulfood, in Dubai, the UAE from February 17-21 next year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

The annual event hosts 120 pavilions from more than 5,000 businesses worldwide. The 5-day event expects to attract 90,000 visitors on business from more than 170 nations and offers the perfect platform for Vietnamese businesses in the food and beverage industry to integrate with their global counterparts.

For this year’s event in Dubai, the Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture under MARD has been assigned to organize the pavilions belonging to Vietnamese businesses taking part in the Gulfood 2019 trade show.

At present a total of 20 prestigious export businesses have registered for the event, including Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), Hanoi Trade Joint Stock Corporation (Hapro), Vietnam Hanfimex Coporation, Tan Vuong Food Company Limited and Hoang Son 1 Joint Stock Company.

Vietnamese stalls in the venue are expected to promote Vietnamese products to an international audience.
