1,200 domestic and foreign firms attend Vietnam Expo 2023
VOV.VN - As many as 1,200 enterprises from 22 countries and territories are attending the Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2023) which is underway in Ho Chi Minh City.
As one of the leading international trade exhibitions in the country, Vietnam Expo 2023 features 1,600 stalls showcasing a wide range of products across five fields of hand tools, gardening and landscaping technology, elevators and accessories, and sports items and bicycles.
One of the highlights of the expo is a special area displaying key products from Belarus, the Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka, China, and India.
According to Nguyen Van Nga, an official of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the annual international trade fair has been designed to boost trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and countries across the world.
With specialised areas set up, the expo gives enterprises and visitors the chance to gain access to new technological trends, innovative products, advanced technologies, and fresh business models, said the official.
A number of conferences and trade and investment promotion events, including the Vietnam-Belarus business forum, will also be held on the sidelines of the expo.
Vietnam Expo 2023 is scheduled to run until December 9.
