VOV.VN - The Central Theoretical Council convened for its fourth session in Hanoi on December 23 with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in attendance.

 The Military Region 7 High Command plans to step up mass mobilisation activities and build closer relations with the people, said a senior officer.

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan asked the Hanoi Capital High Command to build revolutionary, regular, seasoned and gradually modern armed forces during a working session in the capital city on December 18. 

President Tran Dai Quang has requested the Military Region 1 armed forces to raise vigilance and constantly improve their combat readiness and strength as hostile forces are taking advantage of ethnic and religious issues to undermine the great national unity and sabotage the Party and State.

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan visited naval units stationed in the Cam Ranh military base in the south central province of Khanh Hoa on December 17.  

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan had a working session with officials of the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on December 16 to review the province’s 2017 socio-economic development plan. 

VOV.VN - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has called on the Central Military Commission to continue consulting with the Party and State, improve the quality of military training, focus on the defense industry, and promote external defense work.
