PM congratulates Vietnamese sports delegation
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc congratulated the Vietnamese sports delegation who brought glory to the home country in the Rio Olympics 2016, during a reception in Hanoi on August 16.

The PM also asked the sports sector to provide all possible support for athletes and coaches to improve their skills while effectively using the State funding.
He also required the Defence Ministry to help Colonel Vinh, who won the medals, to fulfill his assigned tasks in the near future.
At the reception, Vinh and other athletes promised to do their best to contribute to Vietnam’s sports in the regional and global competitions.
On the occasion, the PM presented the Labour Order, first class, to Colonel Vinh.
The Labour Order, second class, was also awarded to chief coach of the Vietnamese shooting team Nguyen Thi Nhung, while the Friendship Order was given to Korean shooting expert Park Chung Gun.
