Party, State leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh
VOV.VN - A delegation of the Party Central Committee, State, National Assembly (NA), Government and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on August 31 to mark Vietnam’s 73rd National Day (September 2).

The delegation include Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, former Party chiefs Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh, President Tran Dai Quang, former President Tran Duc Luong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, former PM Nguyen Tan Dung, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former NA chairman Nguyen Van An, and president of VFFCC Tranh Thanh Man. |
Other leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, members of the Party Central Committee and leaders of ministries and departments also join the delegation. |
The Party and State leaders express gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the founder and leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam and honoured his contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation. |
On September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, declaring to the world the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. |
The delegation also lays flowers at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs at Bac Son Street. |
National leaders commemorate heroic martyrs, who laid down their lives for the national independence, freedom, territorial integrity, socialism and international duty. |
