Vietnam National Day marked in Cambodia

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh recalled Vietnam's outstanding achievements in its national construction and defence over the last 73 years, which were partly contributed by international friends, including those from Cambodia.

The Ambassador hoped that Vietnam-Cambodia ties will further develop comprehensively on a par with their traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

On behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, Minister of Tourism Thong Khon congratulated Vietnam’s success and prosperity and appreciated the close bilateral cooperation and solidarity. He extended sincere thanks from the Cambodian Government to Vietnam for its support.

The Royal Government of Cambodia will further its close cooperation with Vietnam for bilateral interests, peace, stability and prosperity, he said.

The Vietnamese community across Cambodia is organizing a wide range of activities to mark the National Day.
