On April 7, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc was sworn into office after being elected the new Prime Minister by the National Assembly. |

PM Phuc got 446 approval votes or 90.28% of the total NA deputies. |

He promised to make all-out efforts to well fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the people. |

On the behalf of the National Assembly, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan offered flowers congratulating the new cabinet leader. |

In his oath speech, Mr Phuc described the appointment to the new position as a great honour and heavy responsibility assigned by the Party, State and people. |

He extended sincere thanks to Nguyen Tan Dung and other predecessors for their contributions to the country. |

PM Phuc was born in 1954 in central Quang Nam province and he has held various key positions. |
