The freshly-concluded visit to Laos by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong has contributed to strengthening the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, said a senior Lao official.

The visit to Laos from November 24-26 by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong recorded remarkable outcomes, especially consensuses reached by the two nations’ leader on cooperative orientations, policies and measures to promote collaboration between the two Parties and States in the coming time

President Tran Dai Quang had bilateral meetings with officials of several member nations of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) on November 26, on the sidelines of the ongoing 16th Francophone Summit in Madagascar.
