Diplomat affirms State care for Vietnamese in Macau
The Vietnamese Party, State and Government always pay special attention to Vietnamese communities abroad, including those in the Macau Special Administrative Region, a diplomat has said.

“Overseas Vietnamese communities are an indispensable part of the nation”, he said.
Nam underlined major orientations in external affairs and economic development that the Party and State will pursue in the next five years.
The diplomat recognised the significant contributions made by Vietnamese people in Macau to national building and urged them to strengthen solidarity and mutual assistance in the host country.
Currently, close to 20,000 Vietnamese people are working in the Macau Special Administrative Region, with an average monthly income of US$500-800 each.
