Young Vietnamese pianists win int’l competition
(VOV) -Young Vietnamese piano prodigies Dang Thai Vu and Nguyen Ba Duy Anh took top honours at the Mozart International Piano Competition, held recently in Thailand.
Following three-rounds of competition, Vu secured second prize in group D ( for competitors aged 7-9) while young artist Duy Anh garnered third prize in group B (aged 13-17).
At the awards ceremony, the international jury, including famed professors from the US and Bulgaria, spoke highly of the young burgeoning Vietnamese pianists’ talents and musical knowledge.
The final round of the event attracted 48 contestants from around the globe.
