Young Vietnamese pianist wins special prize at QingYin Award 2025

VOV.VN - Rising Vietnamese piano talent Pham Tuan Khoi has delivered an outstanding performance to win the Special Prize at the QingYin Award - Youth Music Festival 2025 held recently at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, China.

Representing Vietnam in the international final round, Khoi and 47 other members of the Vietnamese team competed against over 1,000 contestants from 30 countries worldwide. They won a total of 7 Special Prizes, 8 Golds, 9 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes, underscoring the growing stature and professionalism of young Vietnamese musicians on the global stage.

Among the standout achievements, Khoi's performance distinguished him as one of the brightest talents, winning the top honour in the teen group A with his expressive artistry, technical precision, and confident stage presence. His captivating performance won the unanimous praise of the jury and left a lasting impression on the audience.

“Pham Tuan Khoi embodies passion, skill, and stage charisma. His success is not only a personal pride but also affirms the growing presence of Vietnamese music on the international stage,” said Nguyen Le Thuyen Ha, president of QingYin Award Vietnam.

With such a promising debut at a prestigious international competition, Khoi is expected to continue his artistic journey with further accomplishments in the years ahead.

The QingYin Award – Youth Music Festival is an international music competition organised by the International Art Education Association and the QingYin Award Organising Committee of China, under the auspices of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in Brussels of Belgium.

The event serves as a global platform for young musical talents to connect with top conservatories and showcase their artistry to the world.
