Despite advancing to the second round of the Talent segment, Nhi was not among the 24 contestants selected for the final round, missing a chance to secure a direct placement in the overall Top 40.

Earlier, she also bowed out of the Sports segment. However, the journey isn’t over for the 23-year-old from Binh Dinh province, as she still has opportunities to earn a spot in the Top 40 through upcoming sub-contests such as Top Model, Beauty With A Purpose, the Multimedia Challenge, and the Head-to-Head Challenge.

Should she fall short in these remaining segments, Nhi could still make it into the Top 40 based on her overall performance and presence throughout the competition.

The final night of Miss World is scheduled to take place in India on May 31.

Huynh Tran Y Nhi, 23, was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023. She stands at 1.75 metres tall with measurements of 79-59-89cm. She was the second runner-up at the 2023 Binh Dinh Student Beauty Contest.

Nhi is now a student of International University under Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City.
