Elsewhere, Agathe Cauet of France was selected as the favourite to be crowned the overall winner of the beauty contest, while the representatives from Australia and South Africa were picked for the first and second runner-up titles, respectively.

Rounding off the list of the Top 10 contestants were the beauties from the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Thailand, Montenegro, Colombia, and Somalia.

During the Miss World 2025 pageant taking place in India, Y Nhi captivated audiences with a confident English speech during a meet-and-greet with the Telangana state police. 

In addition, on May 18 evening, , she advanced to the second round of the Talent segment selected among the Top 48 performers. She competed again on May 19 in the next stage of the segment.

Y Nhi has also showcased her cultural and fashion versatility, impressing in traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, vintage Ao Yem tops, elegant evening gowns, and contemporary hairstyles. She participated in the Head to Head Challenge on May 20, one of the key events leading up to the grand finale scheduled for May 31.

The beauty website Sash Factor of the Philippines previously rated the Vietnamese representative among the Top 16.

Nhi, 23, hails from the southcentral coastal province of Binh Dinh and was crowned as the 2023 Miss World Vietnam. She stands at 1.75 metres tall and measures 79-59-89 cm. She was the second runner-up at the 2023 Binh Dinh student beauty contest.
