World-class chefs to gather in Da Nang for culinary festival
VOV.VN - Da Nang’s International Culinary Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from June 6 to 11 on Son Tra Peninsula, bringing together Michelin-starred chefs and performers from Vietnam and abroad, according to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre under the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The festival will be held alongside activities of the Food Tour Da Nang 2026 programme, which has been running across the coastal city.
During the week-long event, visitors and local residents will have the opportunity to experience live cooking demonstrations, themed dining events, chef–guest interactions, and artistic performances staged along the beach.
Among the international guests is French chef Christian Le Squer, who leads Le Cinq restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris. The restaurant currently holds three Michelin stars and is widely recognised as one of France’s most prestigious fine dining destinations.
The festival will also feature Japanese chef Junichi Yoshida, known for blending Japanese culinary techniques with Asian local ingredients. Yoshida previously worked at Michelin-recognised restaurants in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
In addition to international names, chefs from Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Thailand are expected to participate, showcasing seafood specialties, fine dining menus, and Central Vietnamese cuisine.

Organisers said the event aims to promote Vietnamese cuisine in a coastal resort tourism setting while creating new attractions for summer visitors to Da Nang.
In addition to culinary activities, the festival will host nightly beachside art performances featuring both international and Vietnamese artists.
The open-concept festival space is designed to allow visitors to observe food preparation firsthand and participate in interactive culinary experiences.
The festival is part of Da Nang’s 2026 summer tourism promotion campaign, with the city expecting large-scale cultural and culinary events to help attract more visitors during the peak travel season.
