Well-known Israeli pianist set for Vietnam tour
VOV.VN - Talented Israeli conductor and pianist David Greilsammer will hold three concerts themed “Travel with Satie” in Ho Chi Minh City, the central city of Hue, and Hanoi from June 18 to 29.

During his performances, the artist will showcase several world famous pieces by Erik Satie, who is known to be one of the greatest French composers of all time.
Born in Jerusalem, Greilsammer studied at The Juilliard School. After making his New York Lincoln Center debut he went on to become “Young Musician of the Year” at the 2008 French Music Awards.
Known for his eclectic and fascinating programmes, the renowned pianist is widely recognised as one of the most audacious classical artists of the modern age.
The New York Times recently selected his recital “Scarlatti:Cage:Sonatas” as one of the 10 most important musical events of the year. Previously, the newspaper also named two of Greilsammer’s albums, “Baroque Conversations” and “Mozart-In-Between”, among the best recordings of the year.
