Since then it has been agreed to be held bi-annually. This year’s event will see the participation of ASEAN members including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and the host nation, Vietnam. They will compete alongside contestants from China, the RoK, and Japan.

The contest is a highlight in a series of activities promoted by VOV and will serve to boost co-operation between Vietnam and other nations throughout the region.
