Vincom Centre for Contemporary Art opens first exhibition

VOV.VN - For the first time, Vincom Centre for Contemporary Art (VCCA) has opened the Show Window for the public at Royal City, Hanoi. The event is expected to run through August 6th.

Show Window is the symbolic image of shopping malls, aiming to attract customers.

The Show Window has a total length of 17 metres and is designed after international standards, with the aim of displaying installation art, sculpture, performance and video.

The VCCA plans to invite foreign and local artists periodically to create artworks for the show window. Pictured are The Golden Allegory with two “big eyes” Sharigan Saimingan and Sharigan Dosatsugan by young Vietnamese French artist Truc Anh.

     Young visitors make up 32%.

55% of visitors are from multi-generation families.

Children are very keen at the artworks.

The centre receives about 1,500 to 6,000 visitors a day.
