Vietnamese singer’s MV Bắc Bling takes top spot for MV Best Debut globally
VOV.VN - The music video “Bắc Bling” by Vietnamese singer Hoa Minzy has reached the Top 1 position in the MV Best Debut and Song Best Debut categories on the YouTube Charts Global from February 28 to March 6.
In Vietnam, it also gained impressive results, including Top #1 Trending YouTube Vietnam and Top #1 Music Trending YouTube Vietnam.
Elsewhere, the new video reached No. 1 position in some local rankings, namely Top #1 ZingChart Realtime, Top #1 ZingMP3, Top #1 iTunes, Top #1 Apple Music, and Top #1 Làn Sóng Xanh.
As of March 12, the video had achieved remarkable success, reaching 42 million views on YouTube just 11 days after its release.
“Bắc Bling” by singer Hoa Minzy showcases her deep love for the northern province of Bac Ninh, which is also her hometown.
The MV video features a combination of traditional and modern music in a unique way, drawing the participation of some famous artists such as Xuan Hinh and Tuan Cry, as well as around 300 local people.
Hoa Minzy, 30, whose real name is Nguyen Thi Hoa, was the winner of the reality show Học Viện Ngôi Sao (Star Academy) in 2014. She is known for hit songs, including “Rời Bỏ” (Leaving), “Không Thể Cùng Nhau Suốt Kiếp” (Cannot Be Together for a Lifetime), “Nếu Mai Này Xa Nhau” (If We Are Apart Tomorrow), and “Thị Mầu”.
