Vietnamese dishes impress visitors at UN International Bazaar 2024
VOV.VN - Vietnam showcased dishes and products at the United Nations International Bazaar 2024 held at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York on June 5 (local time).
The Vietnamese delegation introduced hand-made products made of various materials such as ceramic, lacquer, brocade and silk. Meanwhile, the “Vietnamese Kitchen” pavilion displayed specialties such as spring rolls, fresh rolls, baguettes, and iced milk coffee.
The two Vietnamese pavilions received a lot of attention from participants.
Dennis Francis, president of the UN General Assembly, and his spouse called at the Vietnamese pavilions, inquiring into and sampling Vietnamese dishes.
They expressed their desires to soon visit Vietnam to directly explore the country’s culture and cuisine.
The fair was organized by the United Nations Delegations Women’s Club. According to organisers, Vietnam was one of the countries that contributed the most from sales revenue to the charity fund.
