Vietnamese chef named as Chef Hotelier Asia

Nguyen Cong Chung, Executive Chef at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, has been named as Chef Hotelier of The Year at the Hotelier Awards 2017 - Asia.

Chung, the first Vietnamese to secure the post of executive chef at an international 5-star hotel, has worked in the industry for 22 years.

Beginning in 2014, the annual Hotelier Awards honours professionals of the Asian hotel industry. 

In 2017, the event attracted submissions from 70 hotel brands in 14 countries.
