Sofitel Saigon Plaza to welcome Michelin-starred chef Benoit Vidal
As part of a quarterly program to bring in Michelin Star chefs, the Sofitel Saigon Plaza in downtown Ho Chi Minh City will host a culinary week featuring two-star Michelin Chef Benoit Vidal from November 13 to 18 at L’Olivier Restaurant on level 2 of the five-star hotel.
Chef Vidal from France, known as the cradle of European gastronomy, has worked for Michelin-starred restaurants where he acquired profound knowledge of diverse culinary culture worldwide and gained fame in the food industry of France.
Those fond of French cuisine should head for the culinary week to taste authentic French dishes while talking with him to take a close look at his cooking art and French culinary culture.
During the event, the chef will showcase his exquisite and ingenious creations in a series of lunch and dinner as a gift for food-lovers during his first visit to Vietnam.
Guests can register for a two-hour cooking class on November 16 and 17 conducted by the chef to prepare a three-course lunch, with a fee of VND1.288 million++ per person.
