Vietnam jumps two notches on Missosology global beauty chart
VOV.VN - Vietnam has moved up two positions to the 47th on the latest global beauty rankings of Missosology, the world’s leading publication on beauty pageants.
The ranking is based on the various achievements recorded by Vietnamese representatives at the Big 5 international beauty contests, namely Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, and Miss Supranational.
Notably, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, who was crowned Miss International 2024, brought home more 900 points in the global beauty chart.
Last year saw several Vietnamese representatives honoured in the world’s beauty pageants, such as Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen who was a Top 30 finisher at Miss Universe and Huynh Thi Mai Phuong who was a Top 40 finisher at Miss World.
With these achievements, Vietnam earned a total of 3,989 points and climbed to 47th position, two notches up from the 2023 ranking.
The United States topped the list with 22,786 points, followed by Venezuela with 20,786 points, and the Philippines with 15,744 points.
Others to make the Top 10 include Brazil, Colombia, India, Australia, Spain, Japan, and Puerto Rico.
