VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Art Exhibition 2025 is set to be a major cultural highlight in Southeast Asia, bringing together a distinguished lineup of artists, collectors, and galleries from around the world.

Taking place from July 25 to 29 at the International Center for Exhibition (ICE) in Hanoi, the event aims to foster artistic exchange and collaboration on a global scale.

The inaugural edition will feature over 100 leading galleries from renowned art capitals such as New York, London, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Taipei, alongside Vietnam’s most prestigious art institutions. Showcasing a diverse collection of oil paintings, watercolors, sculptures, digital art, and mixed media, the exhibition will offer a dynamic blend of traditional and contemporary artistic expressions.

Organized by Art Box Exhibition Limited (Hong Kong) in partnership with key Vietnamese art organizations, including Khoi Viet Art, Art Box Vietnam, and Chọn de l’Art, the exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. With its modern infrastructure and professional curation, the event promises an unparalleled experience for artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts alike.

The event will showcase a carefully curated selection of works from distinguished international and Vietnamese artists, representing a wide range of styles and mediums.

In addition to the exhibition, esteemed artists, curators, and art experts will lead insightful discussions on contemporary art trends, while visitors will have the unique opportunity to watch artists create live, gaining firsthand insight into their creative process and techniques.

For collectors and investors, the event presents a prime opportunity to discover emerging talents and acquire exceptional artworks.

Regarding the significance of hosting an international art fair in Vietnam, Lau Ching Nam (Vincent Lau), fair director shared, "Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage and evolving contemporary art scene make it an ideal destination for a global art fair. With a growing economy and an expanding community of art collectors, the country presents exciting opportunities for both local and international artists. Its strategic location in Southeast Asia further cements its potential as a key hub for artistic exchange.”

He also highlighted the exhibition’s transformative impact on Vietnam’s art market, “This event will be a catalyst for Vietnam’s integration into the global art scene. By attracting prestigious galleries, influential collectors, and international audiences, it will not only shine a spotlight on local artists but also enhance Vietnam’s reputation as a dynamic center for culture and the arts.”

“The Vietnam International Art Exhibition is designed to create new opportunities across the art ecosystem. Galleries will expand their international reach, artists will gain greater exposure, and collectors will have access to a thoughtfully curated selection of artworks. Ultimately, the event fosters an environment of artistic exchange and professional growth for all involved.”

A key highlight of the exhibition will be its focus on contemporary artistic movements, including digital art, experimental mixed-media techniques, and innovative approaches to visual storytelling. These elements will offer visitors an engaging and immersive experience that bridges tradition with cutting-edge artistic exploration.

The Vietnam International Art Exhibition 2025 is set to be a landmark event, celebrating the depth and diversity of both global and Vietnamese art.
