Vietnam hosts first Miss Multicultural World beauty pageant

VOV.VN - Vietnam is set to host the Miss Multicultural World beauty pageant for the first time, with aspiring candidates from different countries competing for the crown.

“Miss Multicultural World contest was officially launched in Hanoi, Vietnam by Phan Oanh Media,” Missosology, the world’s leading publication on beauty pageants, recently announced on its fanpage.

Phan Oanh Media is owned by Vietnamese beauty Phan Kim Oanh, the winner of Mrs Grand International 2022, who is both the founder and head of the pageant's organising board.

The global press launch on September 26 was attended by national organisation leaders from Singapore, Philippines, Myanmar, India, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Nigeria, and Vietnam.

At a press conference in Hanoi, the organisers announced that the beauty contest is planned to take place from June 22 to 29, 2025.

Around 50 contestants worldwide will come and take part in many sidelines activities in Vietnam, such as visiting spots of sightseeing and joining volunteer activities in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Ninh Binh provinces.

Its grand finale is slated for June 29, 2025, at Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi.

The organisers will give prizes to the winner, two runners-up, and many sub-contest winners such as Miss Talent, Miss Ao Dai, and Miss Fashion.
