Vietnam attends ASEAN Family Day 2025 in New York
VOV.VN - Vietnam actively participated in ASEAN Family Day 2025 in New York, USA, on June 22, promoting its culture, people, and cuisine to the international community.

The event, hosted by Malaysia which currently chairs the ASEAN Committee in New York, welcomed nearly 1,000 participants, including diplomats, staff, and family members from the Permanent Missions to the United Nations and the Consulates of the 10 ASEAN member states and Timor-Leste.
Vietnam’s booth stood out at the event's vibrant food fair, introducing traditional dishes such as phở bò (instant noodles with beef), fried spring rolls, lotus stem salad, and iced milk coffee. These authentic Vietnamese flavours attracted many guests and received enthusiastic praise for their taste and presentation.
In addition to culinary highlights, the gathering featured cultural and sports activities such as Southeast Asian folk games and performances, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Ambassadors, consuls general, and their families from ASEAN countries engaged in the event with joy and camaraderie, reflecting the spirit of unity within diversity.

ASEAN Family Day is an annual event held in cities around the world where ASEAN diplomatic missions are present. It aims to strengthen solidarity among ASEAN members and enhance engagement with international partners.
