VietCharm Culture & Dining Show to debut In Ho Chi Minh City in mid-Feb
VOV.VN - The VietCharm Culture & Dining Show, Vietnam’s first high-end cultural and culinary performance experience, will officially launch during the Lunar New Year 2026 at the historic Reunification Palace complex in Ho Chi Minh City.
Set to premiere on February 17, the first day of the Year of the Horse, the show will be staged daily, offering audiences a distinctive multi-sensory journey that blends culture, performing arts, and cuisine. Designed to become an iconic cultural and dining destination, VietCharm brings a new dimension to experiential tourism in the city.
VietCharm invites both domestic and international visitors to explore Vietnamese identity through sight, sound, taste, and emotion. The programme is conceived as an epic fusion of contemporary performing arts, heritage space, and elevated Vietnamese cuisine, where each performance and each dish forms a chapter in a living cultural narrative reimagined for modern audiences.
The show brings together a lineup of prominent figures from the arts and culinary worlds, including director Nguyen Huu Thanh, music director Vu Quoc Viet, choreographer Quang Dang, and master chef Huynh Phi Nam Phong. Notably, all musical compositions featured in the programme will specially be created and exclusively arranged for VietCharm by Vu Quoc Viet.
Audiences will experience nine artistic performances interwoven with an eight-course Vietnam fusion menu, featuring modern interpretations of traditional dishes. This unique format offers an unprecedented experience that weaves cultural heritage with deep emotional engagement.
Director Nguyen Huu Thanh noted that VietCharm is designed to reinterpret traditional art forms through a contemporary lens while safeguarding their cultural essence. He said the programme brings together the spirit of traditional cuisine and music to create a profound heritage experience that evokes emotional memories and national pride, while presenting a multifaceted image of Vietnam to international audiences and reinforcing the responsibility of today’s generations to preserve and carry forward cultural heritage..
Tickets for the VietCharm Culture & Dining Show are now on sale, priced at VND1,600,000 and VND1,800,000, with an optional costume experience available for an additional VND300,000 per guest. The show will be held daily at the Reunification Palace Convention Centre with two sessions each day from 12:00–1:30 p.m. and 7:00–8:30 p.m.
