Held in celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, the event aimed to highlight the richness of Asian culture while creating a space for cultural connection and heritage preservation. Attendees included representatives from Vietnamese diplomatic missions in the UK, local council representatives, and community organizations, reflecting the attention and support of local authorities and the international community toward Vietnamese cultural activities abroad.

A Rich Program of Cultural Performances

Under the theme “Celebrating the Essence of Asian Culture”, The Asian Fusion presented a diverse range of artistic performances. Young Vietnamese artists brought to life the beauty of Vietnam through traditional singing and dancing, while the “Nét Việt Muôn Nơi” fashion collection showcased the landscapes, culture, and people of Vietnamese provinces, blending traditional Vietnamese styles with British cultural influences to create a visually stunning highlight.

Guests were also treated to Chinese traditional music performances, long-sleeve silk dances, tambourine drum dances, as well as Vietnamese royal court dances from Huế, conical hat dances, and cup dances. The cultural experience area was particularly popular, featuring Vietnamese and Chinese calligraphy, an art exhibition, and Shan Tuyet Tea from Ha Giang, allowing attendees to savor the unique flavors of Northern Vietnam’s mountains.

Exquisite Fine Dining Experience

A central highlight of the evening was the fine dining menu, carefully prepared by the chefs of New Hongkong City. Each dish offered a sophisticated fusion of traditional and modern flavors, from abalone and lobster to imperial golden roasted piglet with caviar and 24k gold, all presented with meticulous attention to detail and accompanied by dedicated video introductions. This combination of authenticity and innovation created a unique culinary journey, promoting Vietnamese and Chinese gastronomy to an international audience.
