Touring Data reveals revenue of Blackpink’s Hanoi concerts
VOV.VN - Touring Data, an independent ticket sales watcher of the United States, has revealed the revenue of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s two concerts which took place at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
According to the information, Touring Data said that the revenues from Blackpink’s concerts in Hanoi were the sixth highest of all Asian stops the group made during the course of their world tour.
Their concerts were part of the group’s Born Pink world tour and sold a total of 67,443 tickets. The corresponding revenue generated stood US$13.66 million.
The ticket sales watcher also noted that the figures made the nation the tour’s stop featuring the eighth highest number of tickets sold, an impressive showing against competition from the K-pop industry’s traditional markets such as the Republic of Korea, China, and Japan.
Blackpink debuted in 2016 and consists of four members, including Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé. The group has since achieved acclaimed international success with numerous hits like "Ddu-Du Ddu-du", "Kill This Love", and "Pink Venom".
The group’s Born Pink world tour began late last year and has grossed around US$260.6 million so far, with 1.5 million tickets sold.
This makes it the highest grossing girl group tour of all time, surpassing the previous record set by the Spice Girls' 2019 Reunion Tour which generated revenue of US$78.2 million.
