According to the latest announcement on February 23, Thanh Thuy was the only Vietnamese representative to feature on the list.

Thanh Thuy, a 22-year-old student from Da Nang, first rose to prominence after being crowned as the winner of the Miss Vietnam 2022 competition.

She continued to surpass 70 opponents to secure the Miss International 2024 crown in Japan last November, the first Vietnamese beauty to win the prestigious pageant.

The Global Beauties website has changed its awards’ name from Miss Grand Slam to Miss Global Beauties after 30 years.

Previously, Global Beauties’ experts only selected contestants from the world's largest beauty contests such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth, and Miss Grand International for nomination.

This year, beauties from all contests that the site has reported on have been named into the list of nominees. The winner is then awarded the Miss Global Beauties title.

The current Miss Grand Slam is Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua who was crowned Miss Universe 2023.

In Miss Grand Slam 2018, H’Hen Nie made the Top 10 finalists, marking the best ever achievement for Vietnamese beauty.
