Summer Concert 2025 promises fresh artistic energy
VOV.VN - The 2025 edition of Summer Concert, themed New Energy for a New Era, is set to take place July 6 evening at the Hanoi Opera House, promising a modern, refreshing approach to chamber and symphonic music.

This year’s concert will feature two parts, namely Vietnamese music in symphonic form and Classical Western repertoire.
Returning to the podium is maestro Honna Tetsuji, a conductor deeply admired by Vietnamese audiences for his long-standing role in the Hanoi Concert series. With his signature finesse and precision, he will once again lead the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra through a captivating musical journey.
The program breathes new life into familiar melodies that evoke summer memories across generations. At the same time, it aims to bring chamber music closer to a wider audience, especially younger listeners, through a sense of intimacy and emotional resonance.
“All the artists will give their very best for this performance,” said musician Do Kien Cuong. “Audiences will experience the strongest, most beautiful energy the artists have to offer.”
In its role as a pioneer in performance innovation, Hanoi Radio and Television has taken the initiative to organize high-quality, large-scale music programs. Through a combination of live performance, broadcasting, and digital platforms, it is working to bring classical and symphonic music closer to the public, particularly through its Hanoi Concert series.
