Second Vietnam International Photography Festival to get underway in Binh Thuan
VOV.VN - The second Vietnam International Photography Festival is scheduled to take place in Phan Thiet city in the southern province of Binh Thuan this year, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The highlight of the event will be a photo exhibition opening with the theme of "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" and a seminar aiming to share photography expertise along with a range of other exciting activities.
The festival is part of the project "Vietnam International Photography Festival" which will run from 2020 to 2030 and aims to initially build a brand for Vietnamese photography, promote beautiful images of Vietnamese people and the country, as well as to strengthen international exchanges through photographic activities.
The event will also serve to contribute to enriching activities within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2023 in Binh Thuan province.
The first Vietnam International Photography Festival was held in Ninh Binh province in 2021. After the launching period, organisers received 1,567 entries works from 98 professional and amateur photographers from 19 countries and territories.
