Photography festival launched for young artists
VOV.VN - The young photography festival 2023 has been launched for all Vietnamese citizens aged between 18 and 35 who live both inside and outside of the country.
Each photographer will be eligible to submit up to eight photos, whilst all entries should be sent in a JPG digital format.
Photographers will be able to send entries between April and May. The organising board will then select winning images in order to put on display at an exhibition that is scheduled to take place in September.
The event is organised every two years by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The purpose of the festival is to encourage the development of young photographers who contribute to the promotion of creative activities.
The first edition for young photographers was organised back in 2015, with the occasion attracting more than 3,000 entries by 527 photographers.
