Quang Ninh ready for Ha Long Carnaval 2025
VOV.VN - The northern province of Quang Ninh is ready to host the 2025 Ha Long Carnaval, scheduled for May 1 at Sun Carnival Square and Vo Nguyen Giap Street.

The event, themed "Connecting heritage, leading the way to shine," will feature the participation of 1,000 domestic and international artists, showcasing the traditional cultures of Vietnam’s three regions and unique summer tourism offerings.
The festival will kick off with a grand opening ceremony, DJ performances, and a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display. In addition, attendees can look forward to a masquerade ball, flash mob performances, interactive costume booths, body painting, and personalized mask-making experiences.
Local authorities have prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure security and traffic safety before, during, and after the event.
With thousands of spectators expected, the highly anticipated festival will further cement Ha Long and Quang Ninh's reputation as a leading cultural and tourism hub in Vietnam.
The province is poised to welcome 20 million tourists, including 4.5 million international visitors, with total tourism revenue projected to reach VND 55 trillion (approximately US$2.2 billion).
