Polish film screenings bound for Hanoi, HCM City this December
VOV.VN - Cinema enthusiasts in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City can enjoy a selection of acclaimed Polish films for free from December 5-14, as part of a cultural exchange programme organized by the Vietnam Cinema Department and the Polish Filmmakers Association.
The Polish Film Week 2025 that aims to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Poland, is scheduled to take place in Hanoi from December 5-9 and in Ho Chi Minh City from December 10-14. The opening ceremony will be held at Hanoi’s National Cinema Centre on December 4.
Seven contemporary films will be featured, including Entropy, Blacksheep, Feast of Fire, Pianoforte, Kulej: All That Glitters Isn’t Gold, Horry Story, and Off We Go.
According to the organisers, the films showcase a wide range of genres and themes, providing an authentic glimpse into Poland’s people, culture, and daily life, while promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
Viewers can obtain free tickets on the National Cinema Center’s website or collect them directly at the theater. In Ho Chi Minh City, tickets are distributed for free through the Cinestar Hai Ba Trung website.
