Painting exhibition on Vietnamese AO/dioxin victims opens in Hanoi
VOV.VN - A painting exhibition on Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims kicked off in Hanoi as part of charity activities to raise public awareness of the terrible impact caused by Agent Orange on people and the environment.
The event is being co-hosted by the "Orange" project in co-ordination with the Area 75 Art Center - Art & Auctiony.
On display at the exhibition are a range of pieces created by artists, artisans, individuals, and organisations from all over the country who want to donate to the fund in support of AO victims.
A representative of the organisers said the proceeds from the painting auction will be donated to AO victims.
Simultaneously, organisers of the "Orange" charity project will donate 20% of the profits from workshops to the Center for Caring, Nurturing and Treating AO victims/Dioxin in Hanoi.
The exhibition is open to the public until 5:00 p.m. on December 6 at the Area 75 Art Center - Art & Auction, on 75 Hang Bo street of Hoan Kiem district.
