Over 160 artists to join Domino Art Fair
More than 160 artists from different parts of the nation will participate in a Domino Art Fair which in Hanoi from January 20-15 and in HCMC from February 22-17, Vietnamplus reports.
At a recent press conference in Hanoi, Trinh Minh Tien, founder of RealArt and Domino Art Fair, said the participating artists would bring their top 300 works representing a wide range of cultures, trends and styles to the event.
Especially, veteran artist Thanh Chuong will have a meeting with spectators in Hanoi to introduce his latest collection of 60 rooster paintings. Those who come to the event in HCMC will be able to meet with artist Le Kinh Tai to talk about animals and human beings.
There are roundtables and activities to promote Vietnamese artists at the two events in Hanoi and HCMC. Domino Art Fair is the first in RealArt’s long-term plan to establish the brand Vietnam Art Fair.
Domino Art Fair is aimed at bringing art closer to the community. Spectators can find different exhibition areas for different genres and groups.
The event will hold a “school day” for kids and teenagers aged between 6 and 18 to experience an art education program. There are open places for artists to interact with the audience. There will be a private area for art collectors.
