VOV.VN - More than 20 Vietnamese publishers and cultural organisations brought more than 1,200 books to the Frankfurt Book Fair 2025 which opened on October 15 in Germany.

The Frankfurt Book Fair 2025, the 77th edition, is gathering more than 4,000 publishers from over 90 countries and territories worldwide and more than 200,000 visitors are expected to join the event, making it the largest of its kind in the world.
Phan Tam, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Claudia Kaiser, Vice President of the Frankfurt Book Fair, officiated the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Book Space.
The Vietnam Book Space that spans an area of 100 square meters, features more than 1,200 titles across various genres including literature, history, culture, children’s books, science, and digital publishing, with nearly 100 delegates in attendance.
Vietnam hopes to promote cooperation in co-publishing, translation, copyright exchange, and expand investments in e-books, audiobooks, and international copyright platforms, helping Vietnamese stories reach global readers more quickly and conveniently, said Deputy Minister Tam at the event.
The same day, the Vietnamese delegation met with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Frankfurt and presented books to the Consulate and the Vietnamese community there.
The Frankfurt Book Fair 2025 is scheduled to last through to October 19.
