Elsewhere, the beauty from Thailand was selected as the favourite to be crowned as the overall winner of the beauty pageant, while the South African and Irish contestants were subsequently picked for the first and second runner-up titles, respectively.

Rounding off the list of the Top 20 contestants are the beauties from Brazil, Australia, Slovakia, India, the Czech Republic, Mexico, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Ivory Coast, Malaysia, Cameroon, Spain, Chile, France, the United States, and Puerto Rico.

Earlier, beauty website Sash Factor of the Philippines also rated the Vietnamese representative among the Top 16.

The Vietnamese girl is joining more than 100 other foreign contestants upon arrival in India on May 6 to compete at Miss World 2025 pageant, which is scheduled to take place from May 7 to 31.

Huynh Tran Y Nhi, 23, from the central coastal province of Binh Dinh, was crowned as the 2023 Miss World Vietnam. She stands at 1.75 metres tall and measures 79-59-89cm. She was the second runner-up at the 2023 Binh Dinh student beauty contest.

Nhi is now a student of International University under the Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City.
