Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2026 sets VND500 million top prize
VOV.VN - The organizing board of Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2026 plans to allocate a total of VND 1.3 billion for five major awards and 10 subsidiary prizes, with the winner set to receive cash and in-kind awards valued at VND500 million.
Vice Chairwoman of the Can Tho People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep has signed an official document approving Queen Zone JSC to organize the beauty pageant, following a proposal from the Can Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The competition, titled Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2026, is scheduled to run from September 13 to December 5, 2026.
The final round is expected to take place from November 25 to December 5, 2026, at several locations across Can Tho City. The grand final night is planned for Hau River Park, Cai Khe Ward.
Nguyen Minh Long, Chief Executive Officer of Queen Zone JSC, said the company has officially announced the launch of the 2026 edition, with the highest prize valued at VND 500 million. The final round will be staged in the Mekong Delta, alongside activities linked to tourism promotion and public awareness of marine and island-related issues.
Building on the outcomes of its previous editions, Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2026 continues to focus on identifying a well-rounded image of Vietnamese women in an era of international integration, while combining cultural grace, intellectual capacity and modern confidence.
A key feature of the 2026 edition is the choice of Can Tho as the venue for the final round, providing a setting to highlight themes related to marine environmental protection, climate change adaptation and sustainable development through the contestants’ activities.
According to the plan, a press conference will be held in Can Tho on January 10. The application period will run until September 13, with preliminary rounds scheduled in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City on September 20, and Can Tho on September 27.
Last year, Nguyen Hoai Phuong Anh from Ho Chi Minh City won Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2025 in Ha Long.
