Miss Multicultural Vietnam bound for Hanoi this November
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has approved the organisation of the Miss Multicultural Vietnam pageant, a national-level beauty competition aimed at honouring the beauty, intelligence, and cultural identity of Vietnamese women.

According to the organisers, unlike many beauty contests that focus primarily on physical appearance, Miss Multicultural Vietnam is designed as a journey to promote national cultural values. Contestants are expected to showcase not only beauty, talent, and confidence but also a commitment to presenting Vietnam’s spiritual heritage, customs, rituals, language, and traditional costumes to both domestic and international audiences.
The competition also serves as the official national selection to choose Vietnam’s representative for Miss Multicultural World, an international pageant gathering contestants from multiple countries, where participants compete in beauty, knowledge, and cultural awareness.
“Miss Multicultural Vietnam is not only about physical beauty but also about spreading the values of our national culture. The winner should embody modernity, intelligence, and pride in Vietnamese identity,” said Miss Phan Kim Oanh, head of the Organising Committee at a press briefing on August 20.
In the context of international integration, the organisers highlight the importance of preserving and promoting cultural identity. The crowned winner will serve not only as a beauty queen but also as a cultural ambassador, connecting the past and present and helping to raise Vietnam’s profile on the global cultural map.
The pageant is open to Vietnamese women aged 18–33, who are at least 1.63 m tall, unmarried, and have a minimum of a high school diploma. Single mothers are accepted.
The grand finale will take place on November 23 at Ho Guom Theatre, Hanoi. Prior rounds include the preliminary round on November 18 and the semi-finals on November 22, which feature three segments of Ao Dai (Traditional Costume), Evening Gown, and Talent, narrowing the field to 30 finalists for the grand finale.
The winner will represent Vietnam at Miss Multicultural World 2026 to be held in Vietnam.
