“Melodies of Faith” concert at Hanoi Opera House

Choir of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra will give a “Melodies of Faith” concert at Hanoi Opera House on May 17.

The first part of the show will present to music lovers Vietnamese popular songs which praises the country and Vietnamese people, such as Hong Dang's Bien Hat Chieu Nay (The Sea Sings this Afternoon), Oi que toi (Oh My Homeland) by Le Minh Son, Mua xaun dau tien (The first spring) by Van Cao, Yeu (Love) by Van Phung, Tam Hon Cua Da (Soul of Stone) by Tran Lap and more. 

The second part will be vocal and instrumental compositions around the world, including Adiemus, The Godfather Main Title Them, Blue tango, Schindler’s List Theme, The Prayer, The Typewrite, Waltz No. 2, O Fortuna.

The concert will be performed by pop star Thanh Lam, singer Tung Duong, the Choir of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Le Phi Phi.
