“Love and friendship” exhibition promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

VOV.VN - The 2025 Korea-Vietnam Cultural Arts Exchange Exhibition themed “Love and Friendship” opened at the Fine Arts Exhibition House in Hanoi on October 23 as part of activities to strengthen cultural exchange between the two countries.

Now in its third consecutive year, the event reflects the growing fine arts cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) amid their broader international integration efforts.

The exhibition brings together 20 Korean and Vietnamese artists who vividly depict the distinctive cultures and daily lives of both nations through diverse materials, including lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay, ceramics, oil, acrylic, and silk.

With its heartfelt theme, “Love and Friendship” delivers a profound message about the bonds between people, nature, and life.

Vietnamese art is distinguished by its modern lacquer techniques, while Korean art is renowned for Najeon Chilgi - the traditional mother-of-pearl inlay craft that dates back thousands of years.

The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to explore the richness of both nations’ fine arts and their enduring cultural values in the modern era. It will last through to October 27.
