Local designer unveils renovated Ao Dai collection
Local designer Kevin Nguyen has launched a renovated Ao Dai (Vietnamese dress) collection called ASEAN Beauty – Flowers of ASEAN, which features innovative designs made from local silk, satin and tussore material at Peony Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City's District 7.
Inspired by the friendship of the 10 ASEAN countries with unique cultural values, each design has hand-made patterns of each country’s national flower.
The designs help glorify women’s body and thus make them look more elegant and charming.
Target customers of the fashion brand are middle aged women who are entrepreneurs and white collars. They can wear these modern and fashionable ao dai to attend meetings and events.
The fashion brand expects to offer more ready-to-wear designs of dresses and skirts and hand-made accessories to its customers.
