Les Misérables to return to Hanoi Opera House this November
VOV.VN - The musical "Những người khốn khổ" (Les Misérables) is set to be performed by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet (VNOB) on November 9 and 10 at the Hanoi Opera House in the heart of the capital.
The play associated with the fate of the characters will be performed by several renowned local artists such as Dao To Loan, Nguyen Huy Duc, Trinh Thanh Binh, and Anh Vu.
The artists will sing in English with Vietnamese subtitles appearing on a LED screen.
The show will also feature the participation of the international choir Hanoi Voices and artists from various countries.
Hanoi Voices is an international choir that brings together members from more than 10 countries, including Vietnam, Canada, France, the United States, South Africa, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, with the management of conductor Dong Quang Vinh and pianist Claire Shuangshuang Mo.
The musical Les Misérables is adapted from the novel of the same name by the great writer Victor Hugo and is one of the most famous French musicals of all time and one of the most performed musicals worldwide.
VNOB debuted the musical in 2020 and it has been highly appreciated by artists and art lovers.
Ticket prices ranging from VND800,000 to VND1.5 million are available at Hanoi Opera House at No. 1 Trang Tien street.
